“A showcase for great songwriting that shows sometimes the best thing you can do to gain perspective is take a step back… in “Arcadia” he has carved out a little piece of heaven, one that is distinctly his own, and it’s a pleasure to get to stay there, even for just a while.”
8/10 Helen Jones - Americana UK
Arcadia
Released 2024
Rooted in rhythmic rock & roll and sharp songwriting, Arcadia marks a turning point in Jesse Terry's career. It's the seventh original album from an award-winning musician who's spent much of the past decade on the move, playing 150 shows annually, including bucket list events such as Bonnaroo and AmericanaFest. Arcadia captures both sides of that musical personality, finding room for amplified anthems one moment and intimate moments the next, showcasing just how wide Terry's reach can be. A grand-prize winner of the John Lennon Songwriting Contest, Terry established himself as a top-shelf songwriter and storyteller even before he built his audience as a solo artist. Arcadia captures him at his articulate, energetic peak, stocked with songs that turn personal details from Terry's own life — including the joys and challenges of fatherhood, as well as nostalgic reflections upon his own childhood — into universal rallying cries for anyone looking to turn the challenges of the past into fuel for a better, brighter present.

Produced by Neilson Hubbard (Mary Gauthier, Glen Phillips), and includes performances from Liz Longley.
When We Wander
“...easy to compare Terry’s heritage and storytelling to that of Jackson Browne, James Taylor or Bruce Springsteen… A symphonic delight for the heart and soul.” 9/10

"In my book, there have been two essential Christmas albums: 'Johnny Mathis Christmas Songs' and 'Nat King Cole Christmas.' I am thrilled to add a third to that list - 'Jesse Terry - A Christmas Collection'."

A collaboration with artist / producer Alex Wong, the songs are based on the story of the residents of Kivalina, AK who may become the first climate change refugees in North America. The acoustic-forward arrangements, built around two voices and two guitars, are uncluttered yet cinematic in sweep, sonic gems that conjure images of northern stars and unfamiliar city lights.

"As a young artist, Terry would fit right in with the songwriters of the 1960s and ’70s. Listening to his music, it’s easy to imagine hearing his songs on the radio in between cuts by Bob Dylan, James Taylor, Jackson Browne and Joni Mitchell."

"Stargazer" was forged in the crucible of Jesse's engagement with a chaotic, often confusing world. Drawing inspiration from a diverse pool of influences — from vintage Jeff Lynne-produced pop to the Roy Orbison of “In Dreams” to "The Man Who..."-era Travis — "Stargazer" is an album commensurate with its moment, imbued with an unconquerably sunny perspective for these dark and turbulent times.
Stargazer
"Stargazer" is a triumph from start to finish, and Jesse Terry can be rightfully proud of an album that should, if there is any justice, be sitting in any "Top 10 Album Of 2017" lists that you care to mention."

The Runner
"Like forbears John Prine and Mark Germino and recent risers Mindy Smith and Jeremy Lister, Terry is a pop-folk troubadour whose style suits the coffeehouse rather than the Grand Ole Opry. A Berklee College of Music grad, he brings a sophisticated melodic touch to his tender musings about love and finding his place in the world."
